Pill Popping Drunk

This was like working in the twilight zone. The owner of G Bar and Kitchen could’nt stay sober for two seconds. By the first month of being open the owner popped zanax and washed it down with vodka. He held everyones paychecks and threw plates at his staff.
It gets better…his caddy girlfriend owned the salon next door. She would come in and tell the bar all about her clients private lives etc..( dont go there for a facial unless you want everyone knowing how bad your skin is ) !!
Late night was the worst. The owner would be drunk and high ..quoting the bible..
Don’t worry about working there…it’s about to close !!

OMG!I completely agree! I worked there briefly as well and witnessed the same B.S. I’d also like to add that the owners brother, who is the manager, is very unprofessional as well.
Working there was a terrible idea. I left a high profile restaurant in Boston to work there thinking i could held make a name for this place and it only produced a sour note in the mouths of people who spoke of it. The owner should have had a stronger game plan going into the concept development, and put an overwhelming menu together for such a small space. The starting staff was strong, but poorly respected and underappriciated by ownership and his fellow “management team” (aka family and girlfriend). The chef lacks a solid fundamental background in COOKING of all things. Platework was sloopy and inconsistant. The solid kitchen crew with real experience he had there he drove into the arms of competition with his lack of management skills and his lack of drive to actually be in the kitchen doing any form of cooking. He would hold wine tastings, and “pharm” parties before service, and be rendered useless for service, requiring the good kitchen staff to work twice as hard. The ownership was sexist towards women, believing that men were stronger waitstaff based on the fact that they carried a penis between their legs.

Hey Chi if you looked at the sight clearly you’d notice that the names of the boxes were at the bottom of what they posted so heather’s was bried and mine was huge. I don’t need another penis between my legs cause i am a guy and you’re a fag for posting that. Completely fact filled because i was behind the line almost everynight (aka i was opening management) and know the hell that happened which is why he turned his opening staff 1000%
