Establishment: Hill Tavern
Location: Beacon Hill
The hill is great in so many ways. It\’s laid back, everyone has been there for a while and act self-suffciently. The money is usuallly steady and good. The owner is one of the craziest people I have ever met. He verbally abuses the entire staff. He makes people pay for walk outs. He asks us to punch out to not produce overtime. He has even taken shifts away from his hard working reliable staff and given them to his obnoxious friends. They believe there that in order to run the establishment well they need to do so with an iron fist. What they don\’t know is that it brings down morale and creates nothing but tension in the staff. This of course is counterproductive and unneccesary, thoughtless, and cruel. If anyone ever said this out loud they would be fired. We question his morals and ethics and hope that this site will help the cause.
Anyone who is goin to Indian buffetts. Please make sure You dont Tip your normal 10% 15% or god forbid 20%. They make a wage and every indian restaurant pays there employees by the hour. When we tip them,,, they have too give it too the restaurant. they dont get the tip.. I am pleading with you guys. please please please. Lets do the right thing. This is AMERICA guys. If you wanna ask any server in an indian place,,, I;ll bet ya they will STUTTER or try to compose themselves. They do not get the tip. I’ll bet you any amount of $. I feel bad for these folks.
