wasted my time at the tavern at granite links

has anyone worked at the Tavern @ Granite Links? i briefly worked there, and what a big disappointment! i am a very seasoned server, and was expecting the same there.
there are servers there who have NEVER been in the business, have no wine experience, and have not clue how to extend good service from the time the patron sits down until they leave. if they get bad tips (which they deserve 1/2 the time) they complain where all other patrons can hear them.
the few servers i worked with that were great at there job were "let go". the management hires people as "favors", regardless of experience.
the "chef" is a fraud who pours all his sauces out of jars and calls them his own, when really they take dishwashers and put them behind the line.
i was there several months, and could not take it anymore. i have a little more self-worth than that. how sad, this shoudl be a goldmine for servers, yet instead, you have a few that make money because they are "in charge"-God knows why, they are no better than the rest.

Yes. It is all true, The place is run by idiots. That have know idea what there doing. How many restaurants can you fail at to be GM. I could go on but its a waste of time.
To be honest I used my real name,,and Dave is a great chef .Yes there is bad staff, and good, and favors.its a restaurant, HELLO
i have been to this restaurant multiple times and some of the srvers are not up to speed but for the most part it is a well run business. the manager is very nice and treated me and my whole party with respect every time we arrived. he made all of us feel welcome as if everyone was equal in his eyes. the food is great and honestly it is worth it to make the trip to this restaurant. these comments seem to be written by disgruntled employees who think too highly of themselves. if your such a seasoned server then find another job. im sure with your experience, you shoul;d have no problem. and as for the owners, they are rich but still they dont run the restaurant, the manager is the one who has made this establishment infamous
heh heh o yeah, i worked there. the chef IS a fraud, and the mngr is dumb as the day is long!!
