The management like to explain that it’s a very "New York" way of paying employees… LOL! What a f*ckin’ joke. If I wasn’t so desperate at that time that’s exactly what I would have done - LAUGHED OUT LOUD!
I religously did the math to my earnings every week, my check was always off… I wasn’t the only one… no one could seem to explain it? Weird.
Besides the lack in pay… if your hired you may have the once in a lifetime opprotunity to encounter the 21 yr. old manager / Sommelier from Sonoma Valley. You will be able to identify this exotic creature by 3 difinitive physical at all times…
1. Grossly over-sized suit (check!).
2. Kodiak shredded tobacco in his lapel pocket (for dipping between presenting bottles of fine wine to tables - check!).
3. A 2 liter of Mountain Dew that he keeps in his back pocket (check!).

I worked at the place, what a joke. They are so fucking cheap. when I left after three weeks they had nonmatching glassware on the table. seriously spending $30.00 is too much for a dozen glasses. The place is dead, so dont bother working there. and for pooling tips, that is for idiots. I worked there as a second job, for breakfast/ lunch. What really pisses me, is that no busser, no runner, I had run the plates and glasses through dishwasher. Suppossed fine dining my ass. All that pidley shit to make MCDonald’s money.
If your tips were stolen you can get them back. I have seen this done, the law says that for every hour that you ever worked there you would be entitled to get the difference between Tipped minimum wage and reg. minimum wage which is $3- and that’s for every hour you ever worked there! Plus you are entitled to the stolen tips as well, that could mean big bucks- I’ve done this post back if you are interested.
Gian the general manager is a loser. the pastry chef michele is an ugly pear shaped pig w/ an attitude. If u ask the pasty-c*nt a question god help u. u get the esteemed privilege of putting up w/ suburban white trash. the money their to be made is joke at the expense of the waitstaff. and the uppity eurotrash clientele does not tip worth a f^ck. YEs nicolas was right mcdonalds b.s. $, what a waste if time.
