That’s what I said after working there for a day. Chef asked me why Jews are so cheap. Since it way my first day, I didn’t ask why Mexicans are so stupid, just sucked it up. I was there 5 months. Saw 8 cooks come & go. "Chef" could never keep enough cooks for a full schedule. Some workers work about 1/3 of their time before punching in. Rampant discrimination against any non-Latinos, not just Americans.

Why is it if a non-Mexican complains about discrimination in the industry, THEY are racist? Come on, it happens all the time in F&B. Nobody can get a job but Jose’s aunts, uncles, cousins, parents and neighbors are all running around making great money (Jose isn’t his real name, by the way!). It is not racist to state the obvious, fukuRacist, and bloggers shouldn’t have to be P.C. to spare your tender feelings. Buenos Noches!
I did not post “Mexicans are stupid”! I just pointed out there seems to be a lot of reverse discrimination lately in the industry. Also, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if the original poster felt he had been treated unfairly based on his color/religion, that was his right. You should really understand what you are reading before you jump on a soapbox. I’m sure you are a very nice person but…just stating the obvious!
I didn’t justify what the chef told him, I said that you lose your right to be offended if you yourself make racist comments.
I am not even a Latino, or a Mexican. You are a degenerate asshole, You are no worse then the chef who made those remarks, As a matter of fact, your remarks are worse then the chefs. Only difference between him and you is that he got a better job and makes more money then your racist ass.
