Establishment: Quench
Location: West Madison
I have been a customer of the Quench restaurant on west madison for some time now, and I truely enjoy their food especially here of late there seeems to be alot of improvement and the food tastes better. My biggest problem is, when I come in the evenings there is a women there who may be the manager but seems to be the most unprofessional and unkept person there. I have over heard her on many occasions using the word Bitch and motherfucker and a few other choice words towards some of the other females and even some of the men there at the restaurant. How this is supposed to be professional is beyond beleif. Why others have not complained is beyond me. I feel that something needs to be done before Quench loses a good customer and further more as long as this type of behavior continues I will nolonger refer my friends and neighbors to eat there and if they continue to employ this level of employee I will not be visiting Quench if she is the type of person they continue to keep on staff there. It is a shame that one person could ruin their buisness and any continued success that Mr. Love seems to be experiencing.

Are you sure that you aren’t talking about Domenica at Cafe Bionda. She has the same mouth and lack of self respect. She treats her staff as though they are below her and has failed management 101. Perhaps they are related.
the reason his people cuss all the time is because he cuss’s them out.the only way that is going to change is that is must stop cusing them out everday. its not going to happen because that is how MR LOVE want to manage he knows no other way!!!!!!!!!!!

If it is a privately-owned establishment, I’ll bet this:
1. She probably is a manager, and that’s why she behaves in that manner…no one is reprimanding her.
2. Poor-quality employees/managers most likely receive low wages… OWNERS!!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! STEP IT UP AND PAY DECENT SALARIES TO PROFESSIONALS!!!
3. I have found there is a real lack of professionalism in the management teams I have encountered lately-not to say all managers are bad… but bad management breeds resentful employees and this reflects on guest service…
4. To the guest who posted this issue- I think by choosing not to bring your business to this establishment you are making the right choice…and thanks for the heads up-I’ll never apply there!
