I have a compalint about Lettuce entertain You and Big Bowl specifically in Edina , Mn. I have worked there for several years and I have found really only one thing wrong with Big Bowl. The area supervisor of Mn, he was demoted 3 years ago for his inept ability to manage three restaurants, and then about a year ago he was promoted back to area director???WTF! We have meetings with  the president of HR and she asks us how we feel about the company, management and generally how we like our job. The employees at Edina wanted one thing, the area director to change the way he talks to us, treats us, etc. I have friends that work in both the other locations and they said that the meeting was the same way for them at their stores as well. NOTHING CHANGED! except the managers we liked have left because he is such a %%!#% to work for. So those that say that Lettuce cares for their employees, answer this question, why is this happening to a good place to work. Lettuce is a cult like environment and he is obviously in the fold because they protect him and blame everyone else. Why is he not responsible for his actions?

It is the same way with Pf Changs and their sister company Pei Wei…I worked for Pei Wei for over a year as a manager, and I ran the front of house and kitchen because they could not keep managers there because of the market partner and operating VP, who came to town 1 time every three months and bitched the entire time at everyone! I was promised a transfer after one year back to my home state, and then was told I could not because THEY could not get good managers! Well no shit, you treat them like crap and work them like dogs! It will never change, sorry to hear about your situation
