So, where do I start?! I went to apply for a job @ this shit hole the day I was supposed to meet Caryn who is the owner named Guy’s girlfriend that lives with him & dumps him every 3-4 mos or so isn’t even there for our appointment. So needing a job I reply to her email & come the next day. My 1st day of work my training starts an hour late but not before 2 Chicago HOMICIDE detectives come in to question them about a promoter who’s worked out of there for MURDER! Pay 5$per hr plus tips. WHAT TIPS?! So the next occurrence was me being dressed and ready to leave for work and getting a call saying can you come in an hour later. So I wait then go, when get there I still have to wait an hour to get in only to be told by the owner can you come back @ 6 because there’s nothing to do?! Are you kidding me?! This again happens on my next shift but now it is raining! Guy & Caryn finally arrive with supplies but clearly not happy with each other! Making me very uncomfortable! Keep it to yourself guys wtf! So after finally being given 4 days a week @ 4 hrs a shift I’m ready to depart home to head to work, I then receive a phone call from Caryn telling me we are so slow she will be taking over all the shifts! WTF! Why did you hire me? Did I forget to mention that for 5$ an hour I was also supposed to be booking bands?! LMFAO!!! My friends are playing tonight and what they fail to realize is that I know many people in the music industry and I have a lot of friends. This place already had bad reviews and I was warned against working here but I took it in stride me being a positive Paige and all. They lost a golden goose and Caryn needs to find some place that will pay her as well as a new man that will appreciate her. Oh and the sound guy is good people! This place is disorganized, and there is a rumour that the owner likes to have his way with the female employees in the basement forcefully. Any ladies thinking about employment at this establishment, stay away.
