I like the rule of a resume.
I want to know a person’s background before I hire them, and I make them pee in a cup.
I want professionals.
Not drug addled douche-bags who have had twenty jobs in 5 years.
I don’t mind submitting a resume.
I’ve got nothing to hide.
I’ll pee in your cup.
I am a professional.
I’ve had two jobs in the past five years, but I’m going broke working where I do. In this toilet economy, it seems like only “the chosen” have a chance at getting hired. Also, if the original poster had a sufficient grasp of the English language to be able to create a document that represented their skills their chances of finding work in this toilet economy might be greatly improved.
Hey Mort, your language is rude and obnoxious. I truly hope you are not an F&B manager because if your post is even a glimmer of how you are in person, the only “douchebag” in the room may be you. Unprofessional!

It’s been like this for way too long. One of the things I used to like about the business is that it didn’t matter who you were or where you came from, you could get a chance. Now, every 2-bit hot dog stand thinks it’s a Fortune 500 company. And speaking of which, the restaurant industry is ANOTHER place where the mega-corps (Aramark, Lettuce, etc) have pushed out all the independent operators.
Admittedly, a lot of the independents shouldn’t have been in business in the first place, but jeez!! If I talk to another Asst. Mgr who says “we”, I’m gonna wee on his shoes!
