People beware their is a guy out there named Ron Rosenblum, he
calls himself a headhunter for the restaurant business. He used
to post ads in The New York Times but they declined to have
anything to do with him. Now once and a while he posts ads on
craigslist. If you see him in person you will think he is a skit
on Saturday night live. On W34 street ,his office waiting room has a toaster
oven and Mr. Coffee machine in it, and his office, or desk has
about ten thousand papers that look like a wind storm blew
through his cheesy dirty windows. He makes unkept promises about
good paying jobs. He sends you on goose chases around the city.
He purposely doesn’t have a computer probably because he has
pissed off so many people. Stay far away and bewarned

Beware of this guy! He strings you along sending you to restaurants. He says he was hired to fill positions at specific restaurants but that doesnt seem to be the case when you arrive. I have been lead to believe that he gets paid if you get hired. He sells you to the restaurants who dont want to pay. You will feel like the red headed step child when youshow up for an interview. and they probably wont be expectingyou. very much a waste of your time.

I know Ron for a lot of years, he has gotten me positions in the past. Not only has he gotten me positions but positions for several friends of mine. Yes I will agree that he is not polished and not so refined but he is a nice guy and very hard working for his clients.

Ron was my life saver, when I was at my lowest he got me a job that I thought I was over my head but he said I would learn and I did and he saw me through it. I cannot say enough wonderful thigs about him. If you are qualified and have credentials he can do the world for you.

Ron got me a job with Europa Cafe some years ago, quit my job to work there, think owners name is John. Worked two days and General manager said it was a mistake in hiring me, they did not need anyone, this is after I quit my other Job. They called me back 2 months later & gave me a Catering Directors Job, I quit after 3 weeks, they are tough to work for, should really go back to Greece. Ron reached out to me weeks ago about Pax Wholesome foods & Europa again, said they need a Corporate Director of Operations for about $100,000 annually? He also had another position as a G.M for a restaurant Group for $125,000 - $150,000 annually? Sounds to good to be true, I like Ron, BUT I have been blowing him off, I think he is starting to believe his own embellishments, or LIES!!!! Why would a reputable company deal with someone like Ron for high end positions rather than going to the big firms out there? Like I said the guy would be great to drink & chat with about anything but getting you work, total bullshit & waste of time, energy, money.

I also know Ron. He has place me in AMAZING jobs!! Including a management position at Tavern on the Green where I was making more money than I EVER made in my life!!! I have also worked for Bocca, Metros, all about food (to name a few) through him. So quit badmouthing him because maybe it’s just YOU who is unplace-able.

I’ve known Ron for 9 years and he has placed me in every job I’ve had, I’ve worked as a restaurant manager & as an excecutive administrative assistant for the coo of Tavern on the green all thanks to him. Ron is a great job hunter and he always does his best getting you the job you need! I’ve never had any problems with him, I’ve always trusted him to find me what I need.

ron rosenblum is a true pioneer to the the food service industry. i have known him for over 30 years and he has found me many great job opportunities throughtout my career. Ron Rosenblum has always sat down with me and explained the jobs that were available at that time. I will like to say thank you Ron for spending your valuable time and energy.

Ron Rosenblum has placed me in some outstanding positions
over the last 20 yrs(SAN DOMENICO,ARCHIMBOLDO AND LE TRAIN BLEAU @BLOOMINGDALES To name a few.Whenever I was looking for employment he has come through for me. When I read these negative postings I wonder if these people are actually employable to begin with.

I have known Ron for 25 years. In the past, he found me numerous jobs and he is a straight foward, good-hearted stand up person. When I saw this post about Ron, I was surprised to hear negative comments.
Yeah yeah its that fat old dude OMG is he still doing this job,
i dont think he has ever got anyone hired he tries for management
applicants for places like Metro cafe , Bocca , shit like that ,
but i’d give him one thing he doesnt charge you anything , waste
your time maybe , but no money , depends on how desperate you are
i guess.
