Ristorante Fiore in Boston
Hello there everyone,
I wanted to state something, (not Bash) about Ristorante Fiore in the North End Boston. Although having worked there, I quiclky noticed what was going on. The Company is very untrustworthy and not professional at all. Before taking the Job I was warned by a friend that they are know for hiring and then firing staff members including managers, just to get the through the season while making empty promises. The owner has no and I mean no manners and total disregard for the staff.
These are the facts, although those of you who have been working in the industry well know that back in the day and still today, everyone snuck a drink here and there or at the end we all had a shift drink. But getting drunk on the job was unacceptable let alone being rude to a guest under the influence. This person after three warnings instead of being disciplined was transfered to the sister restaurant beacuse the owner likes her. And that is only on a small scale, I have never worked in a place where I have found needles in employees locker rooms. For any servers out there who see an add for this place, do yourself a favor and ignore it as I should have. There is far too much favoratism among the servers from higher management which get all the good sections making it difficult to ever prove yourself and make money. After all that is why we do it, correct? I always believed peole quit due to management or lack of income, let\’s face it if the amangement suck but you are making great money. You\’re staying, roles reversed you walk. This company has a bad rep in town. Thank you all for your time
