Tips on looking for a server job in NYC without NYC exp.
I just moved to NYC (no NYC experience) and wanted to know what is the chances of someone getting a server job without NYC exp. I have years of restaurant experience but feel nervous going out there looking because I hear all the stories saying people without NYC exp will have a harder time of things.
Is it hard as people say or am I thinking to much into it?
you’ll get something. maybe it’ll be at a small restaurant in brooklyn. but stay there for a few months and then you’ll have nyc experience. easy.
