I, a male with many years of experience in the service industry ANSWERED AD for Valentines Day evening Bartender for one evening. I was asked to come in for an interview , so I did and was told that for 6 hours, I am to be paid by Steve Yabkow, $25 TOTAL plus tips for 6 hours of work. I said I was here to Bartend and she told me, no, you will be cocktailing. I said MEN don’t cocktail, women generally cocktail because females make more moeny then males on the floor like that. Very rarely will you see male cocktailers.
At any rate, I told them it was illegal to offer anything less than minimum wage or $45 for 6 hour which is $7.50 an hour and she told me Steve Yabkow probably would pay that?
This is illegal and immoral and untethical. Club Fais Do Do should be ashamed of themselves.
