Location: West L.A., and the other two.
Run away, far, far away. This place is ridiculous. It is owned and managed by a former disenchanted lawyer, and his crazy Thai wife. They have never worked in a restaurant before, yet they believe they know what they are doing. I have seen about 200 people get hired and fired in the past two years. I am a bar regular, and it is just disgusting. The bartenders they have had the past two years are the reason I keep coming back. They make a good drink and keep good company. The rest of the staff is quite suspect. Apparently, ownership gets angry when they are social with their customers or one another. Go in there any day of the week, and they run around with their head down, and obviously are not too happy. The management just runs around at 100 miles an hour with no agenda, other than to get in everyone’s way. I like dealing with one person, not 3 asking me the same question, or bringing me 3 things. When the old manager, Jordan, was there this was the place to be for happy hour on the Westside. Now because the ownership is running out all of the old employees and replacing them with kids that have no experience I don’t think I’ll be coming back along with the rest of the regulars. At least we won’t when their two main bartenders have gone.
