I live in the Studio City area and I have to say the restaurants here suck. I have gay friends, so no offense, but 90% of the clientele in this area is gay or lesbian. Sometimes it makes for good tips, sometimes it doesn’t - especially when they’re angry lesbians or woman-hating gays. It always seems to me that the ones that are supposed to be hip, posh, or "fine" are frequented the most by the queers. Is Studio City and North Hollywood primarily gay? Have I been walking around with my eyes shut? Are restaurants in these areas better suited if they have a gay waitstaff? Please tell me. I feel like a fish out of water! Is Noho the new Weho?
if youre doing a good job and youre fabulous, youll get the gay tip and never ending compliments…havent your many “gay friends” clued you in on this yet? geez girl you are a mess. put in the push up bra, do you friggin hair, smile and give some love and youll get what you want and you wont care if your guests are gay or straight, unless youre waitressing to trying and get d%#k and phone numbers, in that case you should try spearmint rhino.
