The Farm is owned by a bitch of a woman who couldn’t care less about ANYONE who works there. All of the "executives" eat there EVERYDAY, taking up profitable tables, and have "meetings" about nothing; spreading all of their crap all over the place. To make matters worse, they over-hired, then slowly began firing people over a matter of weeks for no reason (managers included).The food is over-priced and taste like crap. If you want to be talked to like a developmentally retarded 5yr old, treated like a dog, and let go out of nowhere … then by all means, apply for this dream job.
They (the owners) have zero business acumen. I was fired from there too, after spending a shit-ton of time training. They hired way too many people, and refused to do pr b/c they thought everyone would want to go to their crappy restaurant. This is probably the fault of the “communication director”, who got her job b/c she is cousins with the wife of the owner, and yet acts like she is a Wharton graduate who got the job on the strength of her own formidable merit. We (about half of the staff) had degrees from top UC’s and a few from Stanford, some of us even had advanced degrees, and yet she treated us like stupid children. (and she had an undergrad degree from ALABAMA) They are in way over their heads, and the restaurant will no doubt fail. This is very sad for the employees, who are generally classy and professional, but the owners and “management/family” deserve to be raped by syphilitic bears.
