Obviously none of you have ever placed an ad on craigslist. No matter how many times you write no attachments, all you get is attachments. The depths of ineptitude displayed by craislist responders knows no bounds. “send em pics of shit” You’re a fucking idiot.
What astounds me more and more about CL is the absolutely ever increasing demands of the posters to have applicants “jump thru hoops” to respond to an ad. I remeber when attaching your resume was proper ettiquite, as perhaps the poster would like to dl a “hard copy”, as they may want to pass it around, or, they “misplace” the e-mail and cannot find it with-in their own e-mail boxes; ie., your response is doomed to the trash folder. More and more I’ve seen requests for the weirdest things, and more and more they automatically tell you that an attqchment will “automatically deleted”, as if sending a clearly labled attachment of a photo marked as a jpeg or bmp file can POSSIBLY contain a virus. It’s getting ridiculous. Plus the scammers looking for the photos/semi-nude photos of women by requesting “bikini shots” for their “mens club” or “bikini bar” or “cocktail server” or “hostess” position. For crying out loud, can we please find someway of dealing with the ever increasing demands place upon us as respondents?
