Jean George’s Restaurant…desperate for staff….?

My fellow readers,hospitality professionals & hard working people out there guess what..? Jean George’s is desperate for staffing their new outpost located at the new revamped MARKS HOTEL /Madison Av., since last November from what I recalled the have been posting Help wanted ads on CL looking for FOH & BOH staff including their top Management; from what I have heard and read is that they are having trouble holding down good hard working people because they don’t know how to treat staff with respect and consideration for their skills.
dated Friday February 12th: J.G. Restaurant had a posting for "OPEN HOUSE ALL FOH / BOH/HOSTESS/RESRVATIONS STAFF POSITIONS once first thing in the morning and guess what ….twice again later that evening after 10PM TWICE IN ONE DAY…!! I believe that their postings asking applicants to email their resumes is not getting them the results they hoped for so now they finally realized that they are in desperate need to see people in person on Saturday March 13 th the day of STRONG HEAVY RAIN/FLOODING,WINDS UP TO 60 MPH.., to see who will come out get totally soaked in their pressed suits n nice outfits.
Since we are the ultimate professionals some of us will journey to Upper Madison Avenue and endure Mother Nature just for a chance to be either ignored, or told "…don’t call us we will call you.." or maye " ..right now we are just taking resumes…but we’ll be calling people back by the end of next week…,thank you for coming"
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT GROUP DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!

This Company SUCKS in general. I worked at JG as a LIne Cook and they gave you 40 Reg hours and 5 Overtime hours no matter HOW many hours you worked. FUCK Him and his Company.
I’M NOT A CURRENT OR PAST EMPLOYEE BUT THE FLOOR MANAGER IS A FUCKING IDIOT SOME SHORT GUY WITH BROWN HAIR (BUZZ CUT). HE HAD NO CLUE WHAT THE FUCK HE WAS DOING I WAS MORE ENTERTAINED WITH WATCHING HIM AND WHAT I ASSUME WAS ANOTHER PART OF THE MANAGEMENT STAFF SCRATCHING THEIR ASSES WATCHING THE PLACE BURN TO HELL THAN EATING MY COLD PIZZA… MAYBE INSTEAD OFF FUCKING YOUR HOSTESS JG MAYBE WATCH YOUR BUSINESS… LOL!!!!!!!!!!
I am done with Jean George’s ventures. Never again in my life. The most evil restaurant company to work for! They smell bad even down here in Florida.
