I totally agree with that "Naomi Kolstein" article here. She is one of the lowest of the low. She actually use to have fake contracts drawn so she could screw the talent she booked out of money. For example..say a client wanted to book an Elvis act. And the client was willing to pay one thousand seven hundred dollars for the act for this event in question. Miss Kolstein’s cut would be more than half. In this case she would take over a grand for herself with the lowest possible amount that she could get away with to the talent. The client would sign one contract and Naomi would draw up another one "with a much less amount of money than the client made out" to send to the talent. It is shameful that this woman continues to prosper. Hopefully she will pay the piper eventually.

I agree with you Jack. Somebody on this website seems to be targeting talent agents, talent bookers and other actors/production companies? This is supposed to be for restaurants and it has nothing to do with talent agencies. If you have a problem with an agency you should report it to AEA or SAG. Not some random website for restaurant employees.
FYI- It seems to be the same person posting various things as each “rant” is written in the same style of language and the same name-calling tactics and phrases.
I know who wrote this is leaving the same comment on all the KT postings here. Leads one to feel certain that Ikwwt is grinding a personnel ax. I saw this same comment on the other KT posting here as well. There Ikwwt used the name haha. There are very few talent agents and bookers and other actors/production companies being targeted here except for one or two. Ikwwt is obviously one of them. And most likely deservedly so. As there are many so called talent agencies etc. who are not union sanctioned and take advantage of the performers. And this is as good a place as any to spread the word. After all many a struggling actor waits tables and such in the restaurant industry while waiting for that big break to come. The best way to avoid a bad posting here is to not do wrong to people. If a bad posting is unjust the truth will out eventually.
Yes there are plenty of talent agencies that take advantage of actors and wanna be performers. At the same time there are a lot of sleezy performers that backstab other actors too. There are always two sides to every story. But if you had a bad experience with an agency then you should write your story and details.
Anyone could come on here and write “this agency screws you out of money” but for all we know it could be an ex-boyfriend writing this stuff.
