Need Advice
Establishment: PJ Clark’s
Location: Lincoln Center
I have an interview tomorrow at this place for a management position and was wondering if anyone has any CURRENT information about the place. I’m aware there are several comments on this site from 2007 about it being horrible. However, as we all know, a lot can change in a year. If you do have a complaint, please let me know what it is. Are they complaints that I, as a new manager, could address? Or, are the owners the type that really just keep the managers on a short lease. I’ve been unemployed since February and really want to go back to work. I don’t however want to be in a position where I have to be a jerk to staff, deal with a drug-addict owner, or any of that stuff. Been there, done that! I appreciate any information. Thanks!
I think if you have good intentions you should give it a try. If the place is still terrible you’ll be doing a great service to the staff by being a fair manager to deal with. Plus, being out of work is terrible. Take what you can get and if you find you are unhappy continue looking but at least you’ll have a source of income in the meantime.
