Oh where do I begin with this place…Locanda Puta is what it should be called. Just because it’s a trendy restaurant that many people are flocking to DO NOT BE FOOLED, worse place to work. For starters ex-Scarpetta whore who thinks she is walking on water, ex-Cru asswipe who thinks he’s god’s gift to wine, alongside deer walking in headlghts General Manager who has no clue what is going on. Do not get me wrong, ex-Cru asswipe DOES know about wine, brilliant mind full of knowledge of wine but unforunately he is as LAZY as a turtle, and turtles do not move much. You can often find him guzzling flat water out of the bottle, watching hockey downstairs in the office, or my favorite sipping wine or liquor behind the bar in the little room. God forbid you need to check out at the end of the night after slaving around for these people, you won’t find a manager!! good luck to you ass because they are somewhere doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Oh and best part it’s a POOL HOUSE, SO pool your tips together and be raped in the ass…not only can you be the laziest person all night don’t worry you will STILL MAKE THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY, oh and don’t you dare call in sick, you better have a doctor’s note or come in and spread your cough H1N1 disease to all the guests because we need you to work. By far the most disorganized place to work oh but get this we are attached to the hotel therefore you will slave around for them too but as long as you are one of the chosen pets that they love and think is so great you will be all set. KISS ASS ALL DAY AND NIGHT, miss a flight back from vacation, because you are a favorite you WILL NOT BE 86!!! so much sex, drama, smoking in the unfinished penthouse…..need I say more….86 WORKING AT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ARE PPX!!!

you forgot to mention how they require a doctor’s note and THEY DO NOT EVEN OFFER HEALTH INSURANCE!!!
Federal law! You have to miss 2 or more days before they can require a note! If they want a note for one or two days they have to pay for the doctors visit
Yeah, we get sick and need a day off and they want us to bring in a doctor’s note..absoulutely ridiculous. And to top it off they had the nerve to tell us at a shift meeting “we understand that you get sick sometimes, but please try not to get sick and have to call out” I guess they prefer us to come in sick and work most of the shift in the hopes we may get out al ittle earlier, to them that means 30mins before anyone else…WTF
Oh and the person who wrote this failed to mention how yes all the managers suck except THE ONE AND ONLY GAY MAN who is the maitre d and they shit on him all the time too and blame this guy for everything when they should look at how shitty their mere existence to human society is…recently they just fired a day time manager and MADE HER TRAIN THE REPLACEMENT….fuckers!! the economy is bad enough and now they are firing people who need their jobs…I hope this place goes under!!
I also work there now and this place is a joke, a disaster waiting to happen. I am just hoping I get another job soon and get the hell out of there, so miserable and unprofessional, lots of fake people and wannabes and everyone dines there knows somone and are ultra important. Of course having these PPX get the managers to be on you like white on rice.
