what is up with Franco D’Amico from El Gaucho?

Who is this Franco from El Gaucho and why does he keep getting prime restaurant jobs as GM or AGM but then gets fired within two weeks? First Urban Farmer, and now Irving Street Kitchen. This is a small town. Why haven’t people figured this guy out? How does he keep getting hired, and then getting fired? Any info?

There was never a Franco at Urban Farmer as any kind of restaurant manager. Never heard of him. As far as how he keeps getting hired? Its a buddy system in Portland basically. He must know people. Whats a little thing like a reference check amongst friends? Someone seems jealous though.
hey efin! Yeah, Franco was the original AGM at Urban Farmer until someone recognized him on the hotel side of things and then he got fired. He probably was hired before you started? but yeah, he was the first AGM that Sage hired.
this franco, he no good. I once in cooler getting berrys he come behind me and grab my huevos. I say no, no gusta pinga but he no listen. I just want to work to give money to family not have to take off my pantalones while franco maricon puneta like a loco. Aye.
I left the nines awhile ago, but my friends are still there. unless he started before the opening, before anyone was hired there was no franco agm. gretchen was the agm before the place opened, then dan, then aaron. thats it.
It’s bizarre and surprisingly common! I see both operations and sales and marketing people with NOTHING to recommend them getting hired time and again, only to be canned (or quit mysteriously) in 3-6 months. And every time they somehow beat out a pack of others who are just as experienced, have better personalities and are more physically attractive. Go figure….
But I’m not familiar with this Franco guy…
