No disrespect (i.e. don’t delete this please) but where has everybody from the portland forum gone? since the switch to this blog format it seems like the participation levels have dropped off, as has the general sense of humor that once pervaded the site. So What’s up. Is there another site people are going to?

They’ve started delting abusive comments because people like I Just Hate get their jollies by putting down other posters, insulting them and calling them fakes just for fun. This kind of thing makes people think twice about posting in the first place, which isn’t beneficial to this site. Sites like TMZ and WhatWouldTylerDurdenDo thrive on smart ass commenters, but this site is actually trying to help people.
It’s a distant shell of what it was…heavy suppression and moderated. Frabkly, I always enjoyed ‘I just Hate’, ‘Zumpie’, and all the other regulars from the past. We remember what happened, don’t we? Some spamming freak basically destroyed a once open and ‘free’ forum. Presently, they do seem awful cautious and delete happy - only warm and fuzzy apply.
Why thanks and right back at you, aumporn! I still post here—and I can still get fairly snitty. But it’s true in reacting to the stalkers and the spammers things are a bit too buttoned down now.
Maybe you should think back to what happened to my thread. I just tried to post my sweet resume because I wanted a fucking cooking job and you all ruined it with your stupid jokes! But whatever, it’s in the past.
Just to update you guys: I lost that shitty job at Noodles and Co. but I have an interview at Mother’s tomorrow so it’s all working out.

You might want to check on the reputation of owner, Lisa Schroeder. The last webpage had at least 8 pages of tales of woe working for her. She and Holly Hart are neck and neck for most psycho owner ever.
Indeed, you are correct Barbara. Anyone that knows the inside of Portland’s food scence, understands who these two ‘lovies’ are. Interesting connecting that they both have reputations regarding - a high employee turn-over rate. Old Wives Tales is infamous for the thousands of people they been through {FOH & BOH}run by a ‘civilian’. Whereas Mother’s {and other Schroeder locales} is ‘Chef’ owned and operated having Lisa as a skilled professional fires and hires more people than an employment agency. What makes it baffling to me is, if the populous in the industry realizes this and want to continue to seek employment at these places where you’re always walking on egg shells. These two sociopathic ladies just might find a dry market for their respective places. I’ve had the displeasure to be in the working company of Ms. Hart {let go on trumped-up charges} and was offered a position from Ms. Schroeder {interacted closely} a time back. Both have vacant human relation skills - and that’s far more important than anything else.
Yeah, whatevs. She’s been real nice to me so far. Lisa and I go back a ways. I’ve partied at her house with all the other employees before and she can be fun as shit! I don’t think I’ll be falling to the wayside like the poseur ass-clowns that have come before me. I Know how to hold my shit on a line, unlike some. You just have to learn how to keep Lisa happy, and the good times roll.
Sounds as if our old friend Mr. Robinson is a shill for Ms. Schroeder. Do you perform other ‘task’ for her as well?

Ugh I work for Holly Hart currently. I’m pretty close to my breaking point. i just wish that when i quit there could be a way i could really do some damage. any suggestions?
First, break all the microwaves so it will be impossible for her to serve any food whatsoever. Then, hide all the spoons so she can’t scrape the mold off the puddings and continue to serve them. Next, wash all the salad dressing containers so there is actually not dressing from six months ago in there and people won’t get the runs from her salad bar anymore. Finally, shove a gob of peanut butter in that crazy lady’s mouth so she can’t make that incessant sucking noice as she trolls the dining room. Then no one’s hair will stand on end and her day will be ruined!
