Poster's Story

Title:   Truly sick to my stomach
Name Of Establishment:   Casa La Femme/Tapas Lounge
Location:   59th/1st
Story:   I don't like to say bad things about people, really. I even
hesitated writing this; I just don't wish anyone to waste
valuable LIFE time like I did at this place. I would NEVER talk
to someone as if they were a 6 year old, imply they are stupid,
or try to use fear in a feable attempt for control. How about a
tipping system that is so complicated it impossible to verify if
the paycheck is accurate, going home some nights knowing you made
LESS than minimum wage, and yes, tipping out managers in a tricky
way that's not easily trackable, all the A list qualities of a
greedy heartless restaurant establishment. I can't tell you how
disgusted I was when some people even stopped making eye contact
with me as they march through- they knew I knew how pitiful it
must be to smack a cook for not cooking something right, or about
the mysteriously missing liquor and money (you know who you
are!). It all makes me so sad, I just wished I could open a
place and hire all my co-workers. Everyone was so nice- and
desperate to get out. I know it's hard looking for work...but
please, Respect yourself. Don't take this job, you can find
something better, I promise.

Story:   Mehmet and the other Egyptian dude...are they canning each other?
There are some hot female managers that work there. Do you think
I can ride them like bucking broncos?
