Poster's Story Title:   the modern gone downhill Name Of Establishment:   The Modern Location:   MoMA Story:   The Modern used to be a great place to work. Despite the fact that the pool system is screwed up (the runners get 7.5 points when the waiters only get 10) so we didn't make much money, it still had a really fun, energetic vibe to it. All that changed with the new GM, who is a total tyrant, the opposite of what Danny Meyer claims to want for his restaurants. She is cruel to her workers, has no trust in any of the waitstraff, and has made everyone's life miserable very quickly. All the managers are really young and too terrified to stand up to her. Since all the waiters who have been there since the beginning are getting fired left and right for the most trumped-up reasons, and no one has our back, we are all miserable and the guests can feel it. Not worth the USHG benefits when you're getting treated like you work at BlueFin. My friends who have all worked at other USHG restaurants for years still love their jobs, but the Modern is Danny Meyer in name only. Response Story:   WHAT ?????!!!!!!!!!
