Consider this, most of us are struggling artist actors, students, parents who need extra cash with all the restaurants in the city, why would you work for a group that doesnt pay you?? try cashing a check (heh good luck) if you actually get a check be prepared for it to bounce I have put together a small list of warning signs you are in a failing establishment -if you see big scary thugs coming into the middle of the dinning room making a scene telling the owner if we dont get the money i will kill you! -IRS is harassing the hostess -ConED demands thousands of dollars on the spot -Not being able to get liquor unless the 20 year old manger goes to the store -if you experience 3-4 days out of the week with 1/2 the menu 86'd -chefs walking out and never coming back -when was the last time the exterminator was there? -a broken down kitchen with no chef that can not support the over packed house every weekend! i think you all get the point. Response Story:   1.)The Restaurant industry in general makes Haiti appear to be a utopia of democracy. 2.)The GREED and drunk on power of this Entire Bloomberg Administration will ensure said practices continue unabated. NOt a day goes by that yet another established Mom and Pop Restaurant goes out of business due to the real estate scam market, only to be replaced with corrupt mobbed up shitfucks like above mentioned. 3.) A nations LEADERS are its moral and social compass. 4.) America hasnt seen this level of corruption especially with immigration ( the Y2K version of slavery) since the Civil War era. 5. What are we as workers going to do about it.?
