Name Of Establishment:   Cafe Gray Time Warner Center Location:   Columbus Circle, NYC Story:   So my dear restaurant fellow workers, it seems that finally in about another week or so Cafe Gray will be closing its doors permanently( according to a web site on June 30th monday). I had the sad opportunity to work for this arrogant,heartless,Chef and his buddy the unethical,homophobic,rude GM Richard Hollocou. The day I resigned from your God-foresaken venue I prayed that one day you will close/shut down not because of the quality of the food or decor or even for the blocked views of Columbus Circle, but because you were mean, bastards not just towards me, but many other servers,bussers and staff who have moved on. You know what you did ....when you tell someone you are going to pay them a particular salary a year ( and sadly one finds out several months later that you are short changing me in paycheck..)or when I witnessed the GM calling the HR Coordinator "...so you are a fag..." and then laughing right to his face. or Chef Gray Kunz and his racist assistant Jessica Jaffy ( Jessica the only thing bigger that your arrogance was that huge rock dangling from you finger) telling an employee one morning in December of 2005 as follows: "...why are you late an hour...? it" s unacceptable...! employee's response: Chef there's a NYC subway strike...I 've been up since 5 am and had to walk from Forest Hills ." We are so happy you are closing... what goes around comes around..one day sooner or later! There's a God after All!!!
