Story
:
I just read the story about "Nobu 57th".., and that Howard Kuo
the former GM got fired and a bunch of other claims. First and
foremost, Howard did not get fired! he moved on his own to a
great position with "60 Thompson Hotels" and left on very good
terms with Nobu. Second, I've met Howard and have worked
closely with other Managers of Nobu 57.. personally,I have
nothing but praises for these people they gave me a great chance
and responsibility to work for them in one of their new
ventures, treated me with respect, professionalism and believed in
me;I will never forget the Managing Partner and the ladies who
Manage their Reservations. This Industry is a great fulfilling
career, it is sometimes the people( bad apples) who reflect
poorly on the entire venue/industry( not all Managers are alike.I
am sorry that you had to experience the worst from "some
Managers/Captains" their lack of respect for hard working people
like us. Every time we remember someone let's remember the
positive not the negative. Thanks & God
Bless! j.

I have to agree. What I have gathered from this website is that
it seems to be a forum for bitter and angry people to gather as
many negative words as possible and use them to describe their
managers and supervisors. Rather than spending their time
looking through a thesaurus, I think it would be so much more
beneficial for any employees with an issue to address it to "the
powers that be". If you don't speak up nothing's going to
change; if you feel your plight is being ignored or passed over
by your in-house management, go to their boss. If their boss
doesn't come through, go to the person above them. Bitching and
complaining on this site is not going to change anything - if you
REALLY want to make a difference, take a stand and speak up for
yourself. Positivity leads to positivity. Happy workers
make happy customers. Be negative on your own time; don't bring
your angst and hate into your workplace. Take a stand and make
your workplace somewhere you and your colleagues look forward to
entering every time you go in.
