What is up with this place? Some guy named Bart kept dropping F Bombs during the interview……and he is the "owner"? Are you phukin’ serious? This company has been looking for mgmt. and chefs for over 6 months and you wonder WHY!!!!! I have been in the business for 20 years and have been in every pair of shoes out there, but if I ever get caught in the shoes this ego maniac A$$hole was in while interviewing me…..somebody shoot me!!!!

I interviewed with Dan, the other owner , he was an hour late for the appointment, and when he finally showed was stinking of whiskey, and had dried powder (coke?) all over his nose, the only saving grace that he was so out of it, I was able to cut the interview short and get outta there.
I’ve heard of payroll issues as well as payment issues, ie. being on COD terms with most suppliers in the city,THis place is a must avoid
Where to begin,
Daddy and Mommy gave the kids some money to open up a place. by the grace of god the places have stayed open. Young and cocky owners. They go through managers and chefs, like I change underwear.
The outdoor deck on lake unions restaurant is great for the summer and keeps them afloat the rest of the year.
POTENTIAL STAFF: stay away, go somewhere else to work..
i interviewed with these owners for a general manger position. they kept me cooling my heels for 45 minutes after my scheduled time (I almost just left) and then they could barely rip themselves away from their laptops to give me the time of day. they were actually looking for an assistant manager - to fill in when they were too busy!
wouldn’t recommend and interview - they are rude and too full of them selves.

DO NOT Work There, unless your a lil hottie. the food is disgusting. the conditions the food is prepared in are absolutely DISGUSTING. i think the owners pay off the health dept.
you work there, you will be a slave. correct on the high turnover rate, 2 chefs while i was there, an they wanted to give it to me.
also, the payroll sucks, bounced checks, or impossible to get your check, never got my w-2’s WTF.
i highly do not recommend, working or eating there.
But the deck rocks in the summer, except for the girls who have to wait in the coke line to pee.

I went for an interview at the Lake Union location. A very small, cocky Asian man conducted the interview. He was very rude to me and didn’t take his sunglasses off the entire time. This was strange considering the fact that we were inside the entire time and it was really dark in there.
The experience really creepd me out, and I never took the job.
They are the DEVIL. Really evil men. They do not care about the people that work so hard for them. If you knew what went on in the kitchens… you would not eat there! To work there is absolute hell. If you’re the kind of person who just needs to learn for yourself, then go ahead… but bring your own meals and double check your paychecks!!
I too have an interview story! What a joke the first time I go to this place they let another potential employee and myself wait for an hour of listening to the owners scream profanities at one of their workers! Then after waiting all that time the office manager comes out to tell us we have to rescheduel the interview. Thanks for wasting my time. So I go back for the interview again to meet with Bart. I get Dan instead and he’s a straight up condesending douche bag. He basically says that they have a managers meeting and I have to rescheduel another time! Fuck you Blu Water Bistro and all the self absorbed owners who feel that their time is more valuable than mine! I am glad I saw these posting about this joint and I never hope to hear from them again!!!!
