This place is a definite shithole. the manager is a repulsive, short, insecure, egomaniac who is probably one of the most pathetic, sad human beings i have ever encountered. he has no idea about how to communicate with people and he’s a lazy ass mf. the new ownership is clueless and is probably too lazy to find someone else to do the job.he owner is a sexist pig. They try to scam your tips and hours. They make you work 12-13 hour shifts.I worked there as a bartender and I thought the place was one of the more hostile work environments I had ever worked… the owner was one of MANY issues with that place…definitely sexist, ridiculously out of touch with what was going on with his business, couldn’t care any less about his employees or customers…

Wait a minute, are you talking about the weird little Mexican guy that smells funny and wears glasses? I think I’ve run into him. A few months ago I had dinner at Rocksalt with my husband and two friends of ours. This guy kept coming by our table and butting into conversations, overtly hitting on me, bragging about how he was the “executive manager” (I worked in the restaurant business when I was younger. What the hell is an “executive manager” supposed to be?), and offering to “give me anything” I wanted. I had trouble not laughing in his face. Don’t tell me this person is still there? Let me know when he’s gone and I might consider giving this place another try.
Yes the little Old Nasty short Latino manager. I worked there. I am latino too. Got the job not cuz I ma skilled, cuz i am, but cuz he couldn’t stop looking at my boobs. Once I started working there and I didn’t respond to him hitting on me as if me being Latino too made me blind to his disgusting face, he started being a jerk and treating me like the scum of the earth. They did have a great manager there, but they fired him. The latino manager just makes latinos look bad:( He WAS an EGOMANIAC tho!!!! Oh and those club nights, what a nightmare!
The WORST run front of the house in the city, little Hispanic manager is an egomaniac, incompetent twit who barely is capable of speaking English, he has been known to steal tips overcharge customers by padding the bill
